According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 479/2024 On awarding state awards of Ukraine dated July 26, 2024, 21 border guards were awarded for personal courage in the protection of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless service to the Ukrainian people in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, namely 2 border guards were awarded the Order “For Courage” of the III degree, 2 - the Order of Danylo Halytskyi, 2 - the medal “For Military Service to Ukraine”, 3 - the medal “To the Defender of the Fatherland”, 11 - the medal “For Saved Life” and 1 - “Honored Doctor of Ukraine”.

In addition, on the eve of the Verkhovna Rada's award ceremony, the Speaker of the Parliament presented three border guard medics with awards.
