Yesterday border guards of Bilgorod-Dnistrovskyi border detachment prevented an attempt of medicines trafficking through the state border. Personnel of operative units of border detachment obtained the information about possible trafficking in goods forbidden for entry to the territory of Ukraine.

During checking procedures border guards and customs officers detected a car transporting a great amount of anabolics at Maiaky BCP. The car was going from Chisinau to Odesa. The joint group of border guards and customs officers detected approximately 25 000 pills and 90 ampules of medications, preliminary considered to be anabolic steroids, in the boot for personal possessions during the examination of Hyundai car.

Currently medicines have been seized. Border guards announced Ukrainian Security Service Headquarters in Odesa region about crime signs stipulated by the article 201 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
