Two citizens of Afghanistan attempted to get to Ukraine through Lviv airport

Border guards detained 2 men, who arrived to Ukraine from Istanbul, at Lviv airport. They presented refugee travel documents while documents check.

 

Border guards detained 2 men, who arrived to Ukraine from Istanbul, at Lviv airport. They presented refugee travel documents while documents check.

However, border guards of Lviv border guard detachment detected that the produced documents were forged (photo substitution). Besides this, their documents contained other forgeries also. The detainees claimed they were citizens of Afghanistan. As it was discovered, during their trip they were accompanied by another Afghan citizen, resident of Ukraine. His friend asked him to help these people in their journey, as they didn’t know Ukrainian. At the moment, all the circumstances of the foreigners’ trip are being investigated.

A citizen of Armenia attempted to get to Ukraine in another way. Late in the evening, the man decided to swim across the Western Bug River. However, his intention didn’t come true; after overcoming water obstacle he was detained immediately by border guards of “Yahodyn” border guard division, Lutsk detachment.
