The training of operators of the “Igla” portable anti-aircraft missile system and crews of the ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft installation was completed at the Main Personnel Training Center.

During theoretical and practical classes in the training programs, servicemen studied weapons, their material part, combat use and performed practical shooting exercises.

At the military range, the crews of the anti-aircraft weapon ZU-23-2 practiced shooting exercises at ground targets. Particular attention was paid to the coordination of crews during the occupation of the position, bringing the anti-aircraft gun to battle and direct fire.

During the classes and qualifying tests, the operators of the “Igla” portable anti-aircraft missile system performed shooting exercises from the appropriate training simulator, hitting certain simulation targets.

All border guards have successfully mastered the training program, passed the tests on the use of weapons, received certificates and are ready to perform tasks on the protection of the state border.
