Border guards of “Domanovo” border guard division, Lutsk border guard detachment, detained two citizens of Ukraine, transporting nearly 7 thousand packs of contraband cigarettes (Belorussian production), several days ago. While inspecting the state border, border guards noticed two men loading “VAZ” vehicle with boxes. In the course detention, the violators tried to escape. Special “Cactus” device was used by the border patrol in order to stop the vehicle.

Having inspected the vehicle, the border guards found 14 boxes with cigarettes of “Fest” brand.

That very day, border guards of “Pishcha” border guard division, Lutsk border guard detachment, in cooperation with representatives of Security Service of Ukraine detained another 32 thousand packs of “Fest” brand cigarettes. The border guards stopped a “Peugeot” vehicle, which moved not far from Zatyshshia village, for inspection. 65 boxes with tobacco products were found in the vehicle, but 24-year-old driver, citizen of Ukraine, couldn’t provide any documents for the goods. The cargo was confiscated by law enforcement representatives.
