Yesterday, border guards of "Krakovets" border guard division prevented the attempt to import 169 gas balloons into Ukraine in Lviv region. During passport control, the driver of “Prague-Donetsk” regular bus denied transportation of any goods and items, which are prohibited to move through the state border of Ukraine. However border guards decided to check the bus thoroughly. As a result, border guards and customs service representatives jointly detected two backpacks with 169 gas balloons (50 ml and 40 ml). The driver, 30-years-old resident of Lviv region, admitted that unknown people asked him to take these backpacks as transfer to Ukraine. Protocols of administrative proceeding were drawn up on the driver. Confiscated goods were transferred to representatives of Customs Service of Ukraine.
