Units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine carry out protection and defense of Ukrainian-Russian border and boundary line between ATO forces and gunmen under tension.

During the day, terrorists systematically violated the shutdown period and fired on ATO forces.

At 04.40 p.m. (23.11.14) Russian mercenaries fired on border guard patrol that served at control post near Triokhizbenka settlement. They fired with mortar. There are no injured soldiers.

From 11.30 p.m. (23.11.14) to 03.20 a.m. (24.11.14) terrorists periodically fired joint checkpoint near Artemivsk settlement. Bombardment was carried out with small arms from strip of wood (bombardment lasted 30 to 40 minutes). Soldiers opened fire in response and repulsed the attack on the enemy. None of Ukrainian military was hurt.
