Since the beginning of November, special forces of the Rapid Reaction Border Command have been training within the JMTG-U (Joint Multinational Training Group Ukraine), which is held at the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy.

Recently, the results of battalion tactical exercises were concluded, at which foreign colleagues emphasized the high level of training of Ukrainian border guards and the coordination of actions of the State Border Guard Service.

During the exercise, RRBC officers worked out the management of the unit and the fire while covering the state border and the fight against sabotage and reconnaissance groups according to NATO standards with an indication of the divisions' actions on the terrain.

SHKVAL fighters covered the state border in the area of the mission. Border guards worked out search, blocking and destruction of sabotage and reconnaissance groups, carrying out stabilization actions. In particular, actions during the withdrawal of the border guard unit in the reserve area after the invasion across the state border of the prevailing enemy forces.

It should be noted that the training of border guards within the JMTG-U program is held jointly with the Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi 58th Separate Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and will end in late December with brigade tactical exercises.
