Operatives of Lviv Border Guard Detachment provided information that helped to prevent the attempt to import russian-made drugs into Ukraine.

Medical drugs were discovered at the Grushiv border crossing point on the border with Poland.

Medicines of various names were transported by a 46-year-old Ukrainian who was returning to Ukraine in a minibus. Border guards in cooperation with customs officers found 648 packages of medical drugs during the inspection of the vehicle. The smuggled goods were hidden in the luggage compartment and under the passenger seat. The drugs were manufactured in russia.

A protocol was drawn up on the case, the drugs were confiscated in accordance with the established procedure. There is an investigation into the case in order to verify the legitimacy of the shipment.
