President of Ukraine had a working trip to Luhansk region.

The Ambassadors of Germany and France, special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office to the Trilateral Contact Group on the implementation of the peace plan in the East of Ukraine Martin Sajdik together with President visited disengagement area in Stanytsia Luhanska.

During the visit Volodymyr Zelenskyi noted, that near Stanytsia Luhanska, Zolote, Petrivske sides are keeping ceasefire regime. He thanked to all Ukrainian warriors, volunteers, who fight and protect the borders of our state. “We want to finish this war, because we lose the best sons and daughters of our land” – President said.

Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhii Deineko reported to President about border guard’s work and the readiness to provide security and rhythm of passes operations.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi acquainted with the process of rebuilding bridge through Siverskyi Donets river. President explained that new bridge is built to improve the comfort of the passing the demarcation line. “We thought about people and understood that new bridge we will be built about 3 or 4 months. That’s why decided to build pedestrian bridge”, - Volodymyr Zelenskyi said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi was informed that building process is finished and bridge will be open in 2 days. President ordered to open it today.
