In order to prevent entering to Ukraine from Russian Federation of organized groups, individuals who may take part in activities of extremist nature on the territory of Ukraine, the border control reinforcement and relevant measures are being conducted at automobile and local BCPs.

During inspection of Russian Federation citizens’ documents the border guards conduct a survey regarding the aim of planned stay in Ukraine. All the transport means entering Ukraine are under in-depth inspection with the involvement of service dogs and all the necessary technical means of border control.

Such measures are carrying out at the railway BCPs.   

Public-spirited members of voluntary public formations are also involved in accordance with Law of Ukraine “On participation of citizens in guarding the public order and state border”

Yesterday evening border guards refused the entry to Ukraine of three Russian citizens. One of them turned out to be the retired officer of the Russian Federation Navy. The other two have got the entry refusal due to the fact of financial means absence for stay in Ukraine.

The information received from Sumy region local inhabitants runs about the facts of surveys made by Russian border guards at the neighboring BCP “Sudja” (RF) concerning availability of  small arms and armed weapon by Ukrainian border guards.
