As part of a working trip to the Luhansk region, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk visited Stanytsia Luhanska entry-exit checkpoint.

Stanytsia Luhanska entry-exit check point is the only road corridor across the demarcation line that is not blocked by the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

The high-ranking official was acquainted with the infrastructure of the check point and the procedure for allowing people to cross the demarcation line. It should be noted that X-ray and television systems - an introscope - were recently installed in Stanytsia Luhanska entry-exit check point, which allows border guards to increase the security and speed of control procedures.

Visitors also talk to citizens who crossed the line of demarcation and representatives of public organizations located in the service area.

“Taking this opportunity, I thank our border guards and the military for their conscientious work on the line of demarcation,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.

The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine also noted that all control procedures while crossing the line of demarcation should guarantee security and be as friendly as possible, understanding that our people and the territory nearby are also ours, but temporarily occupied.
