The International Organization for Migration continues to assist border guards in the fight against COVID-19.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is developing international cooperation.

Recently, border guards of Luhansk border guard detachment received a batch of respiratory protection from representatives of the International Organization for Migration.

Assisting border guards in the fight against COVID-19, international partners handed over 8,000 protective masks and 6,000 respirators to border guards. Most of them will be transported to entry-exit checkpoints for personnel serving there.

Last month, international representatives handed over a defibrillator, 5 breathing bags, 5 non-contact thermometers and 1 digital tonometer estimated at 290 thousand hryvnias to Luhansk border guard detachment in order to provide border guards performing their tasks in entry-exit checkpoints with everything necessary to respond to emergencies, threats to human life.
