Starting from November 2020, as a result of a set of carefully planned measures and undercover purchases, the facts of illegal activity by an organized group of people from the Republic of Moldova have been documented.

Officers of the operative-search unit of the Belhorod-Dnistrovskyi borderguard detachment jointly with representatives of the National Police with the involvement of armed support of the border special unit “DOZOR” under the procedural guidance of the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office stopped illegal manufacturing of goods by world-famous brands.

Starting from November 2020, as a result of a set of carefully planned measures and undercover purchases, the facts of illegal activity by an organized group of people from the Republic of Moldova have been documented.

Later at the Starokozache BCP the borderguards found a vehicle, the luggage compartment of which was filled with counterfeit clothing. From the driver's explanations, it became known that he was leaving the so-called “Avangard 7th km” manufactured goods market and intended to sell these products in the Republic of Moldova.

As part of the criminal proceedings, a number of authorized searches were conducted on the premises and in vehicles in the city of Odesa and Odesa Oblast. As a result of the measures taken, a large number of counterfeit goods, sewing machines, raw materials for sewing counterfeits, thermal presses for applying brand marks, evidence documents and “black” accounting were found.

Investigative actions are underway, the circle of persons involved in this criminal offense is being established. The found equipment and goods were confiscated by representatives of the National Police.
