Cynology is a real vocation. Today, service dogs have become indispensable assistants in the protection of the state border, who serve side by side with border guards on a daily basis. No subdivision of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is complete without cynologists.

Canine training center is the only one in Ukraine where cynologists and four-legged guards are trained for service at the border.

Thus, more than 180 cynologists and their wards successfully completed their studies and passed the final exams.

During the six-month training period, the servicemen dutifully studied cynology disciplines and trained their four-legged helpers, so they became a single team and true friends.

During the exams, the graduates demonstrated excellent teamwork of the canine team, and the tailed “detectives” skillfully demonstrated obedience, looking for weapons, drugs and detaining offenders.

According to the results of successful completion of studies, all graduates received certificates of cynologist training corresponding the state standard. Therefore, the protection of state borders is now in the hands of shaggy guards. No one can replace a cynologist with a service dog at the border, because they are a powerful support in the fight against crime.
