Border Guards with Interacting Authorities Identify Violators of Migration Legislation

Target-oriented preventive measures for supervision and control over the implementation of legislation in the migration sphere “Migrant” have currently been keeping up on the territory of Ukraine.

Recently, employees of the State Border Guard Service participating in these events together with interacting bodies found seven violators.

In particular, border guards of Izmail detachment together with employees of the Migration Service on the territory of Izmail Central Market in the city of Izmail found a citizen of Uzbekistan who violated the rules of stay in Ukraine. The 44-year-old foreigner did not have any documents certifying his identity and the legality of his stay on the territory of Ukraine. As law enforcement officers found out, the man exceeded the period of stay by more than 120 days. And when being checked, he said that he had allegedly lost his passport document a month ago.

It should be noted that since the beginning of operation “Migrant”, only the border guards of Izmail detachment, together with employees of the Migration Service, have already detained and brought to administrative responsibility six foreigners, and three citizens of Ukraine.

In addition, six foreigners - violators of the migration legislation of Ukraine – citizens of Russia, Azerbaijan, India and Tunisia, have recently been found by border guards of Kramatorsk, Chernihiv, Lviv and Berdiansk detachments.
