Border guards of Ukraine and Lithuania exchanged experience in cynologyBACK
Within the framework of cooperation between the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the Service of State Border Security under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania., representatives of the State Border Guard Service visited
In the period from November 30 to December 3, the border guards of Ukraine and Lithuania exchanged experiences on the organization of training and use of handlers with service dogs.
In particular, they discussed the system and methods of training cynologists with service dogs, prospects for the development and improvement of service cynology.
The Ukrainian delegates were acquainted with the infrastructure of the canine school, the dog training program and the training of officers.
In addition, Ukrainian and Lithuanian border guards discussed the further development of cooperation in the training of dog handlers and service dogs.
Border guards of Ukraine and Lithuania noted the positive experience of international cooperation, in particular in the field of cynology, which allows for a constant exchange of experience in the training of cynologist-inspectors between the border guard agencies of both countries.
It should be noted that the visit took place in the framework of the Plan for the Development of Cooperation between the State Border Guard Service and the Service of State Border Security under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.
