During the border control of the passengers of the Venice-Lviv flight, one of the newcomers presented a Croatian passport.

The border service inspector had doubts about the validity of the document. After an in-depth examination, the border guard of the Lviv BG detachment revealed the fact, that the presented passport was completely forged.

After that the border guards found out that the woman was a citizen of Ukraine.

Thus, Ukrainian border guards stopped more than 1,8 thousand attempts to cross the state border of Ukraine with forged documents last year. Compared to 2020, this figure has increased 3.7 times.
