Few days ago, a man, who carried drugs to Russia, was detained in Donetsk oblast. Border guards of Donetsk border guard detachment were informed in advance about possible attempt of drug trafficking in the area of Amvrosiivka.

Border patrol detained the violator, who moreover tried to escape, near village Vyselky at a distance of 100 m from state border. As it turned out, 27-year-old resident of Antratzyt, Luhansk oblast, was carrying a package with nearly 800 grams of vegetable origin substance, most likely marijuana. The violator claimed an unknown person asked him to carry narcotic “herbs” for money reward.

The detained person and confiscated substance will be transmitted to representatives of Security Service of Ukraine to clarify the circumstances of the offense and further prosecution according to the current legislation.
