Servicemen of the Mariupol BG Division of the Donetsk Border Guard Detachment handed over 60 units of detected prohibited fishing gear to the representatives of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Donetsk region.

June 18th near two kilometres of nets, which were found by border guards during patrolling of the Sea of ​​Azov in May 2020, were handed over to revenue officers.

Acceptance and transfer were carried out in accordance with the procedure of interaction between the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine during the detection of signs of violations of customs rules, as well as identified property that has no owner or whose owner is unknown.

Note that in April of this year, border guards transferred 114 fishing nets with the length of more than 6 kilometres to SFS.
