Border guards caught an offender, who made false documents in Kyiv

Border guards exposed a man who was illegally producing forged documents in exchange for money during the inspection in the capital city.

A native of Donetsk region, born in 1995, established a business for the production of fake documents - COVID-certificates, driver's licenses, as well as documents confirming the status of charitable and volunteer organizations, medical certificates and documents that give the right to leave the territory of Ukraine in the martial law conditions in exchange for various cash rewards.

The man was also involved in illegally inputting information into the database of persons subject to military service called Shliakh.

It was preliminarily established that the cost of the production of documents alongside with the offender’s services could range from $300 to 3,000 USD.

During the inspection, the law enforcement officers found that the man was brought to administrative responsibility for the illegal production, possession, storage, transportation, forwarding of drugs or psychotropic substances without the purpose of sale half a year ago.
