A tripartite meeting of representatives of the border guard services of ukraine, poland and slovakia took place in poland

The event took place in Solina (Republic of Poland) as part of an EU project to strengthen cooperation in the field of identification and return of migrants.

The Ukrainian side was represented at the level of the Border Guard Commissioners of Ukraine in the Lviv and Chop sectors by Colonel Anatolii Fedorchuk, Chief of the Lviv Border Guard Detachment, and Colonel Ruslan Tsapiuk, Chief of the Chop Border Guard Detachment.

The Polish side was represented by the Border Guard Commissioner of the Republic of Poland, Colonel Andzhei Popko on the Beshchadskii border sector, the Slovak delegation was headed by the Deputy of the Border Guard Commissioner of the Slovak Republic in Sobranka, Major Shtefan Bromberher.

The meeting discussed issues related to migration and threats of illegal migration in the countries participating in the meeting, as well as the exchange of experiences of the parties on the identification of foreigners.

In addition, a Protocol summarizing the cooperation of the parties for the first half of 2021 was signed at the above-mentioned meeting, as well as the final Protocol to conduct a joint inspection of the Ukrainian-Polish section of the state border.
