In Transcarpathia, at the Tysa BCP, border guards together with customs officials prevented the illegal transfer of KA-26 helicopter from Ukraine to Hungary. He was transported by a truck with Ukrainian registration.

Based on the risk analysis, during the inspection of the helicopter, the law enforcement officers suspected the possible illegal movement of the vehicle. So the truck, that was transporting it, was pulled out of the general flow for an in-depth inspection.

During the inspection, the border guard together with customs officials found that the documents used to transport the helicopter contained false information about the manufacturer of the product. Subsequently, these discrepancies were confirmed by a forensic expert who was sent a corresponding request.

According to the results of the inspection and due to the detection of documents containing false information, the KA-26 helicopter was seized by customs officials. It was valued at more than 1 million 924 thousand hryvnias.
