From February 25 to February 27 a regular working meeting for representatives of analytical border guard units of Ukraine and Belarus was held in Gomel.

During the event experts were analysing current situation at the common border area, assessing threats in the sphere of ​​border security and predicting its possible development this year.

Analysts from both countries stated that the situation at the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in 2019 remained under control, and information interaction was traditionally at a high level.

The border guards emphasized the importance of joint analytical work, which not only strengthens international border guard cooperation, but also increases the effectiveness of counteracting illegal activities at the border.
