The local citizens helped border guards to detain illegal migrants, who wanted to cross the  state border illegally.

Yesterday,  in Lviv region residents of the border area reported  border guards of Mostysk Border Guard Detachment about two unknown people who arrived in settlement and further went to the border line. 

The response team of  “Shegyni” Border Guard Division started to search possible violators. In a short while, violators were detected and detained.  Two men, of 1989 and 1991 had  Turkish passports. 

During the inspection, border guards found out that, several days ago, citizens of Turkey entered Ukraine in legal way by  plane. Besides, foreigners informed that, they arrived to border area with the purpose of illegal crossing the state border, in order to reach the countries of  Western Europe.

Detainees were prosecuted for the attempt of illegal border crossing. Their future will be decided by court.
