Border guards have performed flights in order to identify signs of illegal activity, surveying a certain area to find violators of Ukrainian legislation on border issues, accompanying and guiding them to the border patrol.

On the basis of the Centre for training to apply and operate the unmanned aerial systems of the Main Centre the annual mandatory inspection of the personnel of the Western Regional Directorate, which has a permit for independent operation of unmanned aerial vehicles of the helicopter type, has been conducted.

During the inspection, border guards have confirmed the required level of knowledge of regulations and administrative documents. The servicemen have considered issues related to organizing and performing flights, aviation engineering support, structure and procedure for the use of Ukrainian airspace, and others.

While performing training and control flights, the staff have confirmed the required level of skills in conducting air monitoring of the training area of ​​the state border.
