The attempt to take the stolen foreign car out of Ukraine was stopped by border guards of the Lviv BG detachment.

A resident of Kyiv was driving a Mazda car through the Shehyni BCP. During a search on Interpol databases, border guards found that the car was wanted internationally. The vehicle was stolen last year in Ukraine.

Border guards of the Lviv BG detachment immediately informed the Ukrbureau of Interpol in Kyiv about the discovery of the wanted car. The vehicle and the driver were handed over to the National Police for a legal deciding.

It should be noted that last year officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine found 63 stolen cars.
