Recently, officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine have performed less than 14 thousand entry-exit operations. This is the lowest record of the number of border crossings.

In total, about 9 thousand people have entered Ukraine, most of them - almost 7.5 thousand – are our compatriots who have returned from abroad. Up to 5 thousand people, including 1.6 thousand foreigners have left Ukraine.

Currently there are neither queues of people traveling by their own transport nor those who have arrived at the border crossing points on foot.

Among Ukrainians who returned from abroad on March 29, more than 2 thousand people arrived without their own transport. Vehicles for transportation with the assistance of the State Border Service of Ukraine were provided by local authorities and SES.

About 1,000 Ukrainians have been processed by border guards at Boryspil Airport. These citizens arrived with 6 special flights.

Recently, almost 700 passengers have arrived to Ukraine by train from Russia, the vast majority of whom are our compatriots, the rest are foreigners who have the right to enter our country.

Border guards in collaboration with representatives of the sanitary-quarantine units conducted temperature screening and health surveys of over 9,000 people. At a border crossing point "Rava-Ruska" in Lviv Region, one citizen of Ukraine who was driving a minibus had a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius during the screening. The ambulance was sent to take this person to a medical institution.

All persons who arrived to Ukraine in the established order provided with special memos and informative consents for self-isolation.

In addition, the Government of Ukraine amended the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of March 11, 2020 No. 211 “On Prevention of the Spreading in Ukraine of COVID-19 Acute Respiratory Disease Caused by the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 Virus”. According to these changes, persons having visited the countries/ regions with local transmission of the virus in the community are considered to have had a contact with the person having the abovementioned disease and therefore are subject to compulsory observation (isolation) within 14 days after crossing the state border in specialized institutions, defined by the Kyiv City, Regional State Administrations.
