Head of the State Border Guard Service had a meeting with newly appointed Head of EUAM Mission Antti Hartikainen

At the beginning of the meeting Serhii Deineko congratulated with the appointment of Mr. Antti Hartikainen and noted about his huge experience in the area of border management and cooperation with SBGSU.

Besides Head of the border agency thanked his personal contribution on creating of Integrated Border Management National Strategy.

Mr. Antti Hartikainen stressed that IBM strategy will contribute the safety of Ukraine and will help to facilitate border control.

During the meeting were discussed the issue of bilateral cooperation. In particular, Serhii Deineko noted about the cooperation with the experts of EUAM Mission in the fields such as fighting against corruption, risk analysis, work with public and mass media, cybersecurity, as well personnel trainings.

Besides, Head of EUAM Mission informed that Mission intend to increase of the SBGSU support in the sphere of Integrated Border Management.
