The departmental health care institutions are ready to accept patients with mild and moderate condition, and Main Military Medical Clinical Center - with a more severe condition.

At present, border guard medical facilities are provided with personal protective and medical equipment and are fully prepared to assist patients with this decease. And in order to provide medical and evacuation measures, almost ten medical-paramedical crews have been organized on reanimobiles.

As in other medical institutions, military doctors are ready, if necessary, to accept border guards with this disease at the Main Military Medical Clinical Center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. In particular, a medical-observational building was organized on the basis of the infectious unit located in an isolated building. Here the border guards with COVID-19 virus will get help. In particular, severe patients who will need inpatient treatment. There are isolated boxes and oxygen is supplied.

“There is everything necessary to provide medical care. An intensive care ward with an artificial lung ventilation unit was also deployed in the ward, and the whole cardiology ward was also transferred to the ward, there is also a ward, equipped with all the necessary equipment” said the head of the infectious ward Valentyn Prymak.

It should be noted that the hospital is now equipped with artificial ventilation devices to assist patients with severe respiratory failure. If necessary, a reanimation ward will be involved. In addition, doctors, nurses and junior nursing staff have been appointed to assist coronavirus patients.

"The main military medical center will receive, first of all, the servicemen of the State Border Guard Service and the contingent, who is assigned to us to provide medically qualified assistance", - said the head of the infectious ward Valentyn Prymak.
