During the day on March 4, more than 118 thousand people and more than 13.5 thousand vehicles crossed the state border of Ukraine in the western part.

These figures show an increase in passenger traffic, compared to March 3, by about 30 thousand people! More than 104,000 people went abroad, more than 14,000 people came to Ukraine.

PLEASE NOTE: most travelers choose to cross the border with the EU checkpoints on the Polish section - they used about 90 thousand people, of whom 82 thousand left the territory of Ukraine.

We RECOMMEND that we use the crossing points on the border with Hungary to speed up the border, which are currently the least congested (almost empty), as well as with Slovakia and Moldova.

We remind you that all checkpoints on the western border are open 24 hours a day. Their workload is published every three hours on the page Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine-Western Border, so that citizens can choose the least filled checkpoints. Border guards of Ukraine, as well as our foreign colleagues are making every effort to speed up the verification of persons leaving Ukraine.
