The border guards have been conducting temperature screening activities for a month already. During this time, more than 2.7 million people, both Ukrainian and foreign nationals, have been checked.

“We see that the detection rate of people with fever is too low. In total, 52 persons with fever were detected” said the Head of the State Border Guard Service.

According to the information received, it is known that passengers, before crossing the state border of Ukraine, sometimes resort to tricks, namely - use antipyretic drugs.

During March this year, there is an increase in the number of people who travel to Ukraine compared to those who leave. This month, the number of citizens returning to Ukraine is 200,000 more than those who left.

"Our citizens are returning home, those who work abroad are returning home, but whether they are all healthy or have a coronavirus disease is very difficult to say," added Serhii Deineko.
