MORE THAN 700 UKRAINIAN CITIZENS HAVE RETURNED HOME FROM RUSSIA BY TRAIN

On March 29, border guards and doctors met the Kyiv-Moscow-Kyiv train, which departed to Russia a few days ago to take our compatriots to Ukraine. Citizens who had the right to enter Russia also departed to Moscow by this train.

The train arrived at the railway station around 8 am. Border guards with the National Police officers closed the perimeter of the restricted area.

The staff of the State Border Guard Service together with the employees of the sanitary-quarantine unit got into the train for carrying out all necessary procedures aimed at preventing the spread of acute respiratory illness COVID-19. In particular, absolutely all passengers underwent temperature screening and everyone was surveyed about their health condition. In addition, citizens received memos and filled informed consent for self-isolation. There were ambulances at the railway station.

Border guards were wearing personal protective equipment and border guards who checked documents were additionally wearing protective suits. In total, over 700 of our citizens have returned to Ukraine by this train.

It should be noted that this train was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Ukrzaliznytsia to return our citizens from abroad.
