Recently, at border crossing points with Poland, there has been a significant increase in passenger flow to Ukraine.

Ukrainian citizens were returning home en masse. As the Ukrainians mostly arrived at the border crossing points on foot, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine facilitated the involvement of vehicles provided by local authorities and the SES for their transportation.

The border guards have taken all necessary measures to streamline the flow of citizens and unload this area. Additional border guard details were involved in the registration process.

In addition, border guards made an unprecedented decision - to open a pedestrian route near the border crossing point Krakivets, where mobile border control units based on two cars were deployed on the A4 motorway. Here, nearly 2,400 pedestrians have been cleared for entry into Ukraine by 12 passport documents examination experts.

In total, almost 22.5 thousand people who arrived to the border on foot were allowed to cross the state border. Most of them were processed at the border crossing points: "Yahodyn" - 6,5 thousand, "Krakivets" - 6,5 thousand, "Rava-Ruska" - 4,7 thousand, "Chop (Tysa)" - 2, 2 thousand, "Vylok" - more than 800, "Luzhanka" - 800, "Uzhhorod" - 700 citizens.

To transport citizens 80 buses and minibuses were involved, performing more than 500 rides.

There are no pedestrian queues at the border crossing points right now.
