During the implementation of operational intelligence of border guards, law enforcement officers stopped a minibus ‘Mercedes’ loaded with counterfeit cigarettes in Izmail.

According to the results of the inspection of the vehicle, a joint group of border guards of the Izmail detachment, policemen in Odesa region and the Izmail district police division found about 15 thousand packs of cigarettes without excise stamps. The driver did not have any documents for this product.

Currently, goods have been withdrawn. The preliminary amount of the product evaluation is almost 600 thousand hrn. Based on the detected signs of crimes, the border guards sent a report to the police.
