"Today I met in London with the Minister of Internal Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Suella Braverman. The position of the United Kingdom is clear and unchanging: supporting Ukraine in the war started by the Russian invaders," wrote the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko in his Telegram channel.
The Minister also said that many important issues were discussed during the meeting, including documenting Russia's war crimes. He casually thanked for the high-quality training of Ukrainian investigators who underwent specialized training from British colleagues.
"It was important to tell that we are moving on and are already thinking about what Ukraine should be like after the victory. So I presented the concept of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Safe country" to a colleague. It is nice that our efforts received a positive response and we managed to agree on the exchange of experience. In particular, in matters of combating fraud, domestic violence, street crime," Ihor Klymenko said.
The topic of rehabilitation of our fighters was discussed separately. Medical and psychological. The United Kingdom has the necessary experience, which will certainly be useful to us.
“I am grateful to Suella Braverman and the UK Government for their systematic and consistent support. Ukraine has felt the reliable shoulder of our partners since the first day of the full-scale war," summed up the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
