Servicemen of the Sumy Border Guard Detachment detained two violators in a few meters from the state border near the village of Popovka in the Velikopasyariv district.

Servicemen of the Sumy Border Guard Detachment detained two violators in a few meters from the state border near the village of Popovka in the Velikopasyariv district.     

Both offenders were citizens of Russia, who illegally crossed the state border from Russia to the territory of Ukraine beyond the established checkpoints. Previously, it was established, that they were a father and a son, who did not have any documents, that would identify their person. At present, offenders have been identified.

40 and 17-year-old Russians were prosecuted for the illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine.

Citizens of Russia were forcibly returned to the territory of the Russian Federation. Besides, 40 year-old man is prohibited to entry the territory of Ukraine for a term of 3 years.
