According to the scenario, the participants of the Rapid Trident-2021 will learn to resist armed aggression in a hybrid war and will complete a number of tasks of combat, logistics and humanitarian nature.

Earlier this week, the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy in Yavoriv district, Lviv region, launched an initial conference on planning the Rapid Trident-2021international exercise.

At the conference, representatives of the countries participating in the Rapid Trident-2021 international exercise discuss and plan the main key points of future exercise, the scenario of maneuvers, as well as logistical issues.

More than 4,000 servicemen from various NATO and Partner countries will take part in the forthcoming exercise. Representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine and some units of other law enforcement agencies will also take part in the Rapid Trident-2021. This year, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine will be represented at the planned international military command and staff exercise “Rapid Trident-2021” by servicemen of the rapid response border command of the Izmail Border Guard Detachment.

It should be noted that international military exercise of this level take place within the framework of the Partnership for Peace international military cooperation program and take place mainly on the territory of the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security.

The Personnel Department of the State Border Guard Administration continues to actively cooperate with the Army Training Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the leadership of the Joint Multinational Training Group NATO-Ukraine (JMTG-U) on Rapid Trident-2021.
