Border guards of Lviv Border Guard Detachment received information from Polish border guards about possible crossing the border illegally by an unknown person.

Border guards reacted immediately and soon detained the violator with a bicycle on the border area of Nismychi Border Guard Division in Sokalsk district of Lviv oblast.

The violator said that he lived in the Czech Republic and crossed the border from Poland to Ukraine illegally because he intended to get to Kazakhstan, but he could not clearly explain why he needed it.

He admitted that he rode a bicycle from the Czech Republic to the Ukrainian border via Poland. He didn't remember how long it took to get the border. How the foreigner had to cover 4,000 kilometers on a bicycle and what to eat is unknown, because he had nothing with him except change of clothes. The cyclist also had no money. In his backpack border guards also revealed a map of Poland's roads, which partially covered the territory of Ukraine.

This time the traveller’s dubious journey has ended on the Ukrainian border. Border guards brought a foreigner to administrative justice for crossing the border illegally. Once all the circumstances of the case are found out, it will be handed over to Polish law enforcement officers.
