The day before weekend, border guards of “Katerynivka” border crossing point (Ukrainian-Russian border) detected drugs in the bus “Shostka-Kursk”.

Detection dog Jessi helped to detect the narcotic substance. The dog indicated a bag, which belonged to a passenger steering to Russia. During inspection border guards of Sumy border guard detachment in cooperation with customs service representatives have found 2 plastic packages with vegetable origin substance, most likely marijuana. Moreover, a metal coffee can, completely filled with the same substance, was detected in the same bag. Total weight of the narcotic substance amounted to 1.5 kilograms.

The passenger of the bus, a citizen of Russia, appeared to be the owner of the goods. The violator and the confiscated narcotic substance were transmitted to the Security Service of Ukraine.
