On the 30th of April 1918 the. Ukrainian military set symbols of Ukraine – two blue and yellow high pillars near the Kolpakove station on the border.

The trident was drawn on each of two pillars and the inscription “Ukrainian People’s Republic” was written bellow the trident.

Today solemn events were held near the Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The ceremonies of officer ranks conferment and laying flowers to the monument of  Defenders of the borders of the Motherland of all generations were held.
