On May 10, the russian army began its offensive in the Kharkiv region near Vovchansk.

Ukrainian border guards in their defense zone were anticipating the enemy's strike. The fighters actively launched preemptive strikes on targets in the Vovchansk direction.

Border guards from the "Hart" and "Steel Border" units operated, in particular, with 120-mm mortars and the Vampire strike drone (also known as "Baba Yaga").
