Two Moldovan citizens were detained by border guards from the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi BG Detachment while attempting to smuggle a 19-year-old Ukrainian into Moldova.

With operational information about unknown individuals moving towards the state border, a drone operator's "bird" took to the sky. Hearing the characteristic sound of the drone, the guide and the "client" hid under a bush, but this did not help them due to the swift actions of the border guards.

It was revealed that the Ukrainian's mother was supposed to transfer $1,500 to a broker from the neighboring country after her son's successful transfer to Moldova. The broker arrived with his friend, who acted as a driver. His role was not only to bring the organizer to Ukraine and back but also to transport the "client" to the border.

The men have been charged with an administrative offense under Part 2, Article 204-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine). The National Police have been notified regarding the two foreigners and the potential crime under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine).
