Most recently, he performed combat missions in Kharkiv region as part of the Rapid Response Border Guard Commandant's Office of Volyn border guard detachment.

Oleh is originally from Vinnytsia region. He studied at the Nemyriv College of Civil Engineering and Architecture. He was called up for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2015, and then signed his first contract, also with the Armed Forces. In 2017, Oleh signed a contract with Lviv border guard detachment.

He has already had three rotations to the war zone. Together with his group, he shot down a tank, captured three russians in spring 2024, and saved a comrade with a shrapnel wound.

“Before every combat mission, I personally have some traditions: I don't shave, cut my hair, take pictures or make videos. And, of course, I need to pray and sit down on the track,” Oleh says.
