Tonight the vehicle «BMW X5» (2010 production year) arrived at “Bachivsk” border crossing point, Sumy region. Citizen of Russia was the driver entering Ukraine.

During the inspection of the vehicle the border guards and the customs service representatives jointly detected the features of possible substitution of identification number.

The traces of mechanical interference to identification number indicated possible violations.

Confiscated vehicle was transferred to the competent law enforcement authorities for the further inspections.

In general, during 2013 border guards in cooperation with customs service representatives detected 69 vehicles with forged and invalid documents and with replacements of identification numbers at the border crossing points of Sumy region.
