During the inspection of the suitcases, law enforcement officers found goods which the citizen was trying to hide from the border and customs control, specifically 149 blocks of tobacco products (1490 packs of cigarettes).

Some time ago, the border guards of Kyiv Separate Border Crossing Point together with customs officials and the National Police initiated an inspection of several, at first glance, quite ordinary suitcases at the Boryspil BCP.  Baggage, registered under the ownership of one of the British citizens, was planned to be loaded on the plane “Kyiv – Frankfurt – London” and headed towards the United Kingdom’s capital.  However, the results of the inspection radically changed the plans of the enterprising traveler.

During the inspection of the suitcases, law enforcement officers found goods which the citizen was trying to hide from the border and customs control, specifically 149 blocks of tobacco products (1490 packs of cigarettes).

Eventually, the law enforcement officers confiscated undeclared tobacco products. There was notified by the URPI concerning the enterprising Briton.

By the way, realizing the failure of his tobacco deal, the traveler refused the flight.
