Recently, operatives of the Zhytomyr border guard detachment conducted authorized searches in one of the households in the village of Vychivka, Rivne Region.

During the searches, a carbine with an optical sight and a silencer, smoothbore rifles, one of which is of unknown origin, and almost fifty rounds of ammunition of various calibers were found.

In addition, 500 packs of Belarusian-made cigarettes were found, which, according to available information, the citizen intended to sell to illegal sellers.

The sanctioned measures were carried out within the framework of criminal proceedings initiated at the request of border guards with the involvement of the departmental special unit “DOZOR” together with employees of the State Fiscal Service in Rivne region.

At this time, all detected items have been confiscated.
