Specialists of public association of “Phoenix” Training Centre conducted a two-day training for the servicemen of the Special Operations and Naval Forces Department on providing emergency medical care in cases of injuries and wounds.

In particular, the border guards of Mariupol Detachment of Maritime Guard worked out the issues of increasing the survival rate of the victims, providing assistance to their comrades due to critical bleeding, providing assistance in case of drowning and conducting cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Thanks to this training, the servicemen of Mariupol Detachment of Maritime Guard have improved their level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in providing assistance in case of injury and damage to certain parts of the body.

For maritime border guards who perform tasks in the JFO zone, in remote areas, on the high seas providing proper primary medical care is a vital skill.
