Yesterday, border guards of Mostyska border guard detachment and customs service representatives jointly detected near 2500 packs of cigarettes under upholstery of a vehicle.

The contraband cargo was detected during inspection of “Volkswagen” vehicle at “Shehyni” border crossing point, Lviv region. The driver, citizen of Ukraine, followed to Poland. Now the violator will be brought to responsibility in accordance with the applicable law.

In another case, border guards of “Vylok” border guard division, Mukachevo border guard detachment, detected tobacco products at Zakarpattia region. Near 1000 packs of cigarettes were detected at 150 meters from the state border. Owners of the goods are currently being searched.
