Today in Kiev the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Colonel-General Viktor Nazarenko met with Major-General David Baldwin - Adjutant General of California State Ministry of Defense. The meeting took place in the framework of continuation and expansion of cooperation of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine with National Guard of California State.

During the meeting the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Colonel-General Viktor Nazarenko acquainted the Major-General David Baldwin with the activities of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine under the conditions of modern military and political situation, told about the state of functions and tasks performance by the border agency at the border, and also in ATO zone, and thanked for fruitful cooperation.

Within the meeting the further cooperation of the parties in the sphere of sea protection, aviation, organization of green border protection and corruption counteraction were discussed. Also issues of cooperation in the law-enforcement sphere, professional training of the personnel, human resources management, legal base, health care and organization of the general bilateral visits were discussed.

Within arrangements the parties agreed to carry out and develop the equal partnership directed to the effective solution of issues concerning the strengthening of the border safety of Ukraine and California State.
